VOCABULARY OF MINIBRIDGE

High card points, drawing trumps, declarer, long suit, opening lead, unbalanced hand, ...

This is not Chinese, but terms that are often used in MiniBridge and Bridge. That is why we have created a dictionary with an explanation of the most used bridgeterms.

MINIBRIDGE DICTIONARY

board Sometimes cards are pre-dealt and placed in a board. This container also shows who is the dealer. bridge board
deal Fifty-two cards distributed, one by one, so each player has thirteen cards.
dealer
  • The cards are shuffled and placed on the table face down. Each player selects a card and the one who picks the highest card becomes the dealer of the first hand.
  • The dealer shuffles the cards again and the player to the dealer’s left cuts the cards.
  • The dealer deals the cards one at a time, starting with the player to the dealer’s left and moving in a clockwise rotation until each player has 13 cards.
  • The dealer also announces high cards points first on a deal.
  • After each hand, the deal rotates to the left.
