PLAYING TOGETHER WITY YOUR PARTNER

You now know that minibridge is a team sport, even though the teams only consist of 2 players. You can win more tricks through good teamwork with your partner. As you know the tricks that your partner wins are also your tricks and vice versa.

It is important to pay attention during the game. If your partner has already won the trick, than it is NOT ALWAYS smart to take the trick away from him.

Each teams wins a trick, but the NS-team can take 2 tricks if they play smart. View below how it should be done!

South leads with ♥K. North knows that his team will win the trick, because North has ♥A. North plays ♥9. South notices that nobody has played ♥A. This means that North (=his partner) has ♥A. South will open with ♥6 in the next trick and North will win this trick forh is team with ♥A. So the NS-team takes 2 tricks.
